Description

Credorax Bank Ltd is a fully-fledged European commercial licensed bank and an established payment services provider and card payments acquirer specializing in tailor made solutions for ecommerce transaction processing. We are a financial technology company with global presence in Israel, Europe, US and China.

The Vice President of Operations (reporting directly to the SVP of Global Operations) will lead and manage the Acquiring and Banking operations departments in the Credorax Bank European site.

The VP will manage and establish best practices across the bank operational teams to support Credorax’s growth and clients, whilst empowering and enabling his teams to meet their targets in an efficient manner.

The role focuses on achieving operational excellence through continuous improvement, team development and day to day management of Credorax’s operational activities.

This role will establish and manage goals and success metrics that align with the overall global operations strategy and client objectives while working with other internal departments to support Credorax’s growing business.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting all Credorax’s operational activities for its products and clients- setups, registrations, ongoing updates, payment execution etc.
  • Managing the Head of Acquiring Operations and Head of Banking Operations and their relevant teams and activities (product/client setups, payments, chargebacks, current accounts, deposits etc.)
  • Supervise, retain, develop, and motivate direct reports, and act as a mentor to all within the relevant departments
  • Organize workflow and manage productivity while meeting performance standards and departments targets
  • Recommend process and product enhancements to improve operational efficiency. participate in relevant projects to support the Bank’s operational strategy
  • Investigate operational problems/incidents to identify root cause and ensure resolution and needed changes to processes and products
  • Lead strategic and tactical planning processes across the different teams and departments under his / her responsibility
  • Keep senior management briefed and updated on departments ongoing activities, teams performance, kpi’s and all other relevant updates
  • Vigilantly seek to optimize both the departments’ services and internal processes on an ongoing manner
  • Identify, recruit, train and develop talent within the relevant teams under his domain to maintain operational stability
  • Work closely with other sites operations managers, VP Support Services and the manager of operations strategy execution

Requirements

  • Proven 6 years plus in an Operations Managerial role, ideally with experience working for an acquirer, financial institution or online Payment Service Provider
  • Previous payment card industry experience gained from an acquiring bank or online payments institution would be highly desired.  Previous experience of working in an international company
  • Sharp and independent, possess excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Be technical minded, creative in visualization, critical thinking, inductive and deductive reasoning and be able to problem solve
  • Excellent professional written and spoken Business English.
