Description
The company is seeking to recruit a Finance Officer to provide support the Finance Operations team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Recording of journal entries in the accounting system;
- Daily payment checks and authorizations;
- Handling Treasury back office requests;
- Reconciliation of settlement, merchant, nostro and other bank operating accounts;
- Timely and accurate execution of month-end procedures and reconciliations;
- Assisting the finance team with the preparation of audit documents;
- Other ad hoc tasks delegated by the Team Lead.
Requirements
- Have minimum A level in Accounts or initial stages of ACCA;
- Have 2+ years of finance experience;
- A good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel in particular;
- Be highly organized, pro-active self-starter, able to work on own initiative, and excellent attention to detail;
- Be a team player, flexible, and able to meet strict deadlines.
